SDMS has contracted with local independent mortuaries to provide six basic plans:
- Direct cremation, minimal service
- Direct Cremation, full service
- Immediate burial, simple casket
- Traditional funeral and burial, full service, including casket
- Traditional funeral with cremation, chapel
- Cremation with memorial service
